Sometimes love can be so confusing.
This poem was written about the idea of what love is.
O my Love
my heart does rise
whether you tell me truths
or tell me lies
I'm in love with whatever love is to me
and whatever love is
love shall be
so Love and I did reminisce
on my lips Love did kiss
raised my heart and my eyes
painted our picture in the skies
and just when my burning passion started
Love swiftly departed
saying,
"Love can have too much power,
it can kill the root and the flower."
I was left so confused,
I didn't know what to do
I shouted,
"O Love! who are you?"
Then Love said,
"Ooh Sugar...
why such fuss?
Shussh, be quiet-hush...
I am not Love
but Lust."
