AN OCEAN OF PAIN

Swimming out to sea
A shark eats me
And that would be okay
Because then he could say

He was full
Not me a fool
Swimming in an ocean
That was once all my devotion

To a love
Not from God above
But from his own mind
Probably thinks he's God divine

As many men seem to do
Then they want you to be true
While with her they spend the end of a day
The sharks not hungry now and pushes me away

The pain is still right here
It's always been very clear
That when I look into your wet
Drowning in the pain of you is all I get.
