Poor Man's Prayer

I sometimes see the homeless and just feel so bad because they are push here and there with no certain place to call home. So this poem represents the homeless desperate prayer to God because he is tired of pleading with the people in the world.

O Lord!
Thou! in the sky
I pleaded with earth
but they won't hear my cry
O my soul longs to be free
from all the ugly words
by which people torture me
Ooh they make me cry out so loud
O Lord,
how can I dance
under these dark clouds?
For this poor man do cry,
for my spirit roams.
Is there any room in the sky
to rest these tired bones?
from walking to and fro
because I have no place to go
O Lord,
I am poor
