Celestial Summons

------------------------------------------------------

CELESTIAL SUMMONS
(the night I was sequestered by the moon)

The skies smiled upon my naked body.
Wisps of smoke twisted in the breeze,
dancing the mambo.
The moon winked at the ebbing tide
as birds became mute.
All was calm, dark and serene,
the night air descended slowly,
enveloped me softly,
and carried me along the moonbeam path.
Entranced and enchanted,
I let the spirit of night whisk me away
to the man in the moon's palace.
I never before knew the beauty and magic of twilight flight,
where reality remains hidden behind a screen of silver stars.
This midnight meditation unleashes the world's burdens
and leaves one liberated
to tame the cosmos like a wild mustang,
gliding swiftly and slicing the silken air,
keeping the biggest piece to tempt your own palate:
dark, creamy morsels of starlight mousse
fall into you...
tickling your stomach,
and gently clinging to your inner child.
The night moon is calling...
Can you come out to play?
