Afraid
So afraid to grow
because you're all I've ever known
you were my world, my everything
and everything I done you were there now without you
I'm scared for the first time
so afraid to let go of you
the growing up we're both doing
so maybe i'm afraid
of losing my friend, not knowing the end
afraid of repeating my past
afraid of a love that won't last
when someone knows you well
there is no comfort like that
I need to go it alone
try to make it on my own
find my own voice, find my own life
one that isn't yours
I just love you so much
feels like magic is in the air
don't know if I can make it without you're being there.
