A Moment

I lost my voice but in my mind I said everything
and we stood there hand and hand
just gazing into one's eyes
I could have laughed, or screamed
but it was a moment for silence
if you know what I mean
I wondered about you just the other day
hoping your life is going well
and remembering that moment we had shared
wishing for more moments like that
