THE DEVIL IN MY SOUL
Satan's not satisfied
Until he takes every inch
Of the miles of tears cried
Over a man I do care about
He wants me to suffer
In stinging pain I shout
Devil take me instead
Force my soul to hell
He's gone with me dead
Burning for love consumed
That once was mine
Darkangel takes the doomed
Roast for an eternity
The bowels of sin
He won't come back to me
The devil in my soul
Smoke rises night heaven
Hate does roll
Doors slam shut as a steel trap
Caged by what was pure heaven
Nightmares no relief zero nap
Satan's girl her pitchforked tongue
Spouts cruel hot ash
Her dad's sex hung
Over the small love she had
Put the devil in my soul
At ten he made me be bad
Now wrecked for trust
No water flows
Screaming tortured lust
The devil touched my secret place
Hellbound knives in this heart
Evil forever yelling disgrace
God take the one light burning
A star from beyond the blackness
Give this devil-child love yearning.
