Dancing Through Daisies

Dancing through daises
Wind fingers in my hair
My thoughts slip away
To my love so fair

Blades of veridian beneath
How they do tickle so
A sweet feeling of serenity
I pray shall never go

A sweet girlish laugh
Escapes from my lips
Hues of yellow and white
Painted within my fingertips

A childhood game played
Does he love me, or not...
As red robin calls the answer
For my thoughts he had caught

Petals drift soft to the ground
As another smile comes to me
Dreaming of a dance together
With my love, in daisies
