I woke up!!!I woke up on a smile one early morning, To the sunshine shining bright, And breathed a sigh of relief, For I finally rid my nightmares of the night! I was awash in a sea of tidal waves, For a long time, a very long time, Where my heart was floundering in the water, And peace just was no longer mine! My heart had been so broken and battered, And it never wanted to heal… But then one night, I had a dream… It made my life once more feel real! For the dream I dreamt that night, Told me I was through another door! Because I finally ‘forgot' the name of the one; The one that hurt me and, oh, so much more! I smiled to myself as one does, Trying to remember his surname, And as hard as I tried, I never succeeded, Oh blimey, aint that a shame! It took me the whole of that day thinking, And searching inside my head, Trying to remember his name… But I couldn't!! It has to be said! And as I sailed through that day in smile, I chuckled to myself with glee… For the very fact I forgot his name… Made me realized; I was finally free!!!! For to love someone and forget their name; Well is it normal? Cos it doesn't seem right! So then; if it happens that I did… It meant my pain had finally taken flight!!! And of course, I'm still smiling! Because now my heart is strong again! No more looking to the hurtful past, For I am happy, and have no more pain! Yep, I did it!! I really did!!!! You see, life is not over because of a broken heart, It's just another trial to overcome! It's called life! Oh, I did remember the name though... Something like 6 hours later! Now that has to tell me something! And I know with all certainty, If he ever turned up on my door step; I wouldn't even open the door! Because he does NOT deserve to be in my life! …He Is Like Everything In The Past… *** History*** Just when you think things are getting worse; They get even better! Now Smile!!
