Bats On The Clothesline!
There are bats on
The clothesline,
Hanging out to dry,
All arranged so neatly,
I watch as they
Fly by!
Their shiny wings
Black shimmer
In the bright sun light.
Their glowing eyes
Are glaring
At everything in sight!
They give a
Squeaky rustle
As they swing in time.
I smile at this
Strange picture
And write this
Little rhyme!
Joy Weare.
1st July, 2005.
