There are many special ages
As life turns over many pages
But for me this birthday dear
Is a very special year.

Seventeen - a woman now
Yet you`re still a girl somehow.
Even `though you`ve had your tears
For one so young throughout the years.

God gave you the strength to smile
As you climbed another stile.
Laughter tinkling - striding on
Happily you sing lifes` song

Of beauty - love - determination
To reach your special destination.
Lay your plans - make dreams come true
