Lost In PittsburghCircling around the city, lost in Pittsburgh. Can't find my way back to you, back to my heart. Lost on a highway, signs coming fast. Keeping my eyes on the road, searching for my destination. Can't get your face out of my head. Can't get your embrace out of my thoughts. Because I am lost: lost in Pittsburgh without you. Found my match with the merge of my soul to your soul. Found my way with the map of my heart that lives inside the light of yours. Pittsburgh is a blur. My eyes closed to all else besides your ready charms, your becoming smile. I am lost in Pittsburgh but I will be found, again. When I return home to be with the one who I am destined to always be near, always love. Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
