Clever Clifford!

Clever Clifford
Climbed a hill
With his best friend,
Blinky Bill!

Clever Clifford
Said his prayers,
When creeping quietly
Up the stairs!

Clever Clifford
Screamed in French,
When he tumbled
Down a trench!

Clever Clifford
Bought a zoo,
And filled it up
With kangaroos!

Clever Clifford
Climbed a tree,
Then sat there slurping
Cups of tea!

Clever Clifford
Danced a jig,
While holding tightly
To his wig!

Clever Clifford
Wrote a poem.
While deep in thought
Upon his throne!
