These ones I love

Billy and Filly

Cowpoke Billy set out one night
And met a gal who lit his light.
Man, but she was one cute filly.
Darn near drove that cowpoke silly.

She winked and smiled and tossed her mane-
Well that drove Billy MOST insane.
He sidled right on up to her-
Sure made THAT little filly purr.

They trotted out onto the floor-
Danced a little; then danced some more.
Struttin their stuff beneath the lights-
They sure did steal the show that night.

Billy and Filly made the rounds
Doin their thing all over town.
Folks crowded in to see this pair-
Not one small ounce of room to spare.

Next you knew, came the President.
Secret Service too were sent.
George W. stood on the floor
Clappin and shoutin, "Give us more!"

Billy and Filly.  What a pair!
Got hitched up at the county fair.
Danced straight way toward the bright sunset.
THEIRS a legend we won't forget.
