In the front seat
Of the car,
Warm sun brushing
Gently down.
I feel my mind
Drift to dream,
So fight it off
With sips of coke.
Countryside
So very dry
It seems to merge
And serge so fast.
It mesmerizes
Me some more,
And so I munch
A jelly frog.
The gentle swaying
Makes me nod,
I sit and fight
Against a snore!
A front seat passenger
Is my role today,
I don't object,
And enjoy the sway!
