Discipline of GodHebrews 12:4-9 You have not given your blood against sin, And not keeping in mind of His Holy Word; Do not just shrug off the discipline within, Since the Scriptures are really not absurd. Neither give up hope when you are judged, For His punishment will be out of the love; And afterwards do not feel as to begrudged, For all of the authority comes from above. Every child has the experience of His rod, All part of our training we are to undergo; For our Heavenly Father is also our God, Who must punish us as to letting us know. If a father doesn't ever discipline his son, Then no true son rather a child of shame; Growing up to see authority just to shun, Because to him as life is merely a game. Those who are disciplined gains respect, For his father and his authority in life; Just as our Heavenly Father we reflect, Knowing our punishment is our strife.
