*inspired after watching Live 8 and a special on Africa....to make a difference go to www.one.org
Africa
I have seen the pictures
of pure beauty
than the other ugly side
the children that are starving
the nation that is wasting away
because not enough is done
to save the future
I have seen the animals that majestically roam
the images of a nature scenes shot perfect
but than the sadness of the people haunt me
the flies that swarm around a malnourished child
the AIDS that have struck the other half
eyes so pleading it brings tears
the heart bleeds because it seems to get no better!
We have the power right now to change
the outcome, the lives, the future of these people
so let's do it! now there is no better time
now can save the tomorrows
of Africa......
