A Day Apart In London!

The magic of
That moment,
So luscious,
Loud and strong,
Caught and curled
The people
And hurled
Their hearts along.
They danced a dance
Of laughter
Within an
Arch of light,
And turned
And hugged
Each other,
With faces
Warm and bright.
They lived within
This laughter,
But only
For a day,
Then tragic
Struck the city,
And blew
Its smile away!

Joy Weare.
