Stand Proud
Stand Proud
I am gonna do this
get through all this pain
and smile again
because this is the only life I get
so I got to make the most of it
If I gotta fight, If I gotta get knocked down
than fine but when I get up
I will stand proud
I am leaving the negative for someone else
shedding this old skin
no longer can be a victim
because I won't let you in
to destroy anything no more I created
my shield against this stormy weather
is the belief in me
only I can defeat my demons
I really don't need a reason
to stand proud
I will soar, I will win
one day I will be complete
I am learning, I am growing
into someone I can walk with
it's my choice, it's my will
no matter what may happen
I stand proud
