Yep, I Lost My Smile For A While…Yep, I lost my smile for a while, And my sunshine went away, But then I woke up this morning, And they're back and here to stay!! I think I was on a weak time, When everything got too much, And I couldn't cope, though I lived in hope, That once more I would find my crutch! And you know, it doesn't take me long, To get over a catastrophe or two! Because once I get my head sorted, I know just what I have to do! Get focused and stay positive, And never give in to defeat and concede, For no way will anything make me do that, And anyway, it's only strength that I need! And yep, that's sure my forte' in life, To never give in or give up! Even though all through my life, My bad health's been an overflowing cup! Still I carry on and fight the good fight, Even when my body is failing and weak! Because I will never stop my fight! For it's survival that I seek! And yep, I sure am a survivor! Cos this I will tell you true! If you knew the problems this body has! You'd wonder how I'm alive like the doctors do! But, I have to be quite honest, I am one stubborn so and so!
