Let me spin a tale
Of days of old
A time of romance
Knights so bold
Where lady fair
By a window waits
For her true love
To come through the gates
To her he'd ride
Upon noble steed
After battle fought
Or valiant deed
In hopes, a reward
His fair ones lips
Willing and eager
For his sweet kiss
Yet I, like her
With patience must wait
Until I see my love
At yonder gate
