The Fall Of The Poetess
She did everything that she could
Tried her hardest to be heard
Screamed emotion with a thundering voice
Found from within her written word
Her pain is preserved forever
It shall live in the words of a song
Yet no one shall remember her
After the melody is gone
Her love she wrote in a sonnet
Displayed it for all eyes to see
Yet parchment grows brittle and faded
As thoughts of her heart came to be
Her prayers were hidden in verses
Somewhere among meter and rhyme
Yet even those can soon be forgotten
Among the passing of time
Her pride is scratched among nonsense
No sanity seems to be left
With her words now all shall witness
The fall of the poetess
