Musings by The Poet Loriet

Sex On The Beach

Cool seafoam waves
lap at their bare feet
as sand squishes
between toes.

They walk together,
hands entwined--
silent.

They are miles away
from the singles world
on the main strip,
ablaze with nightclubs,
shimmering lights
that dance
ballets upon
the water's surface.

Pieces of music
occasionally
drift towards them
on the cool
evening breeze.

They stop to embrace--
the stars above
are reflected
in their loving eyes.

He looks so strong.
His bronzed body
glistens in the moonlight--
wind runs its fingers
through his sandy,
sun-bleached hair.

Her long brown curls,
golden-tipped by sun
tousle under his hands
Her tender lips
are swallowed
by his desire.

He crushes
her beneath him
in the moist
bed of sand
where it
joins
the ocean.

They
become students
of touch,
taste,
breath,
as the
noises
fade.

One man.
One woman.
Away~

Alone with the bond
of love they share.
They can feel it
deep in their souls--
In the heavens
it was planned
for them to come
together--

Their destinies
will entwine,
like their youthful bodies,
and become one.
