You Got My Heart
Some years ago I met you
it was just an ordinary day
now I know it was more than that
it was the day my life changed
I know it hasn't been smooth sailing
but you got the one thing I don't want back ever
you got my heart
You got my heart
you got the key
you hold to a degree my life's meaning
it's with you I am really alive
and beside you where I beam with pride
Smiles and tears have come
but love has kept afloat
in all my oceans of tears
what we have is more than words
more than what meets the eye
it's a question mark
than keeps changing answers
despite the ever changing tide
loving you has become my passion, my art
what can I say?
