UNTIL DAWN
Yet until dawn mine eyes shall shut,
True to sleep for need is must,
Thou here within my dreams you dwell,
Surreal for thee my hands could touch.
Within each flicker of eyes brow,
Pictures of your beauty prevail,
Cast away on distant waters shores,
I ride the elements of seas to thee.
For where as I sleep I am awake,
As my soul doth join thee in glee,
For thou art my love in heart,
That even dreams will not depart.
On crests of waves I am carried,
To thee my love in wait,
within your heart I may ones more reside,
Till morning sun calls my return to day.
Tis but dreams of love that deliver,
To my heart your love entwined,
For here in unconscious state of mind,
I find thee in my arms to hold.
Gentle kiss delivers thy lips of sweet,
Indorsed upon the sands of time,
Comforts dreams of pleasure,
Deep within my minds slumber.
With smile of merriment I awaken,
To morn of brand new day,
Still to taste your sweet lips moist,
As night time fads away.
