Keep the Faith

I Corinthians 15:12-19

If the Christ says He rose from the dead
How can we say there is no coming back?
For if there is no returning from instead,
Then Jesus Christ Himself would also lack.

If then Christ could not be able to return,
So then that would mean He no longer lives;
As our salvation be worthless that we earn,
Being meaningless of sins that God forgives.

As our faith in God could loose its effect,
Making the Gospel of Jesus as a fairytale;
And as a witness we would loose respect,
With a true purpose in life to surely fail.

We would bear false witness with no hope,
Of life everlasting as this one would end;
Trials and tribulations no longer to cope,
Feeling a void as if we lost a best friend.

But we know for sure as it is really a fact,
That Christ rose once and will come again;
Because of our faith that we never lacked,
Knowing that our Savior did not die in vain.
