Silent Scribblers

I write about you,
You write about me,
Both with a pencil
And a mind floating free.
Never a word exchanged
Or a look,
But each of us scribbling
Into a notebook!
I sit here and wonder
Just what you might write,
And all I can say,
Is that we both sit so quiet!

Joy Weare.
