BEHIND THE MASK OF BEAUTY
Before It's Too Late
I don't hate you dad
I have never hated you
I just hate what you did
And what you put me through
I care for you with all my heart
I'm sorry you can't see
You have to understand why I hurt
Just look at what you did to me
People look at me
Like I did something wrong
I try so hard not to cry
But I guess I'm not that strong
Sometimes I blame myself
Sometimes I feel guilty
But I know I am not to blame
It's not like I asked you to hurt me
I did lose trust in you
And it will be hard to regain
For what you did to me
You deserve to feel my pain
Please understand that
The pain will always be there
What you did to me dad
Made me think you didn't care
what you did
Is something very hard to forget
But I am doing the best I can
To try and forgive
I love you dad
And I will always care
But deep in my heart
The forgiveness is not there
Things like this take time
You'll just have to be patient and wait
I just hope that I can forgive you
Before it's too late
