*this is written for my best friend, we have known each other since kindergarten literally.....in honor of our 20 years of friendship *

Lori this girl is for you
for all the stuff we have been through
you have always been a true friend
our share of fights but always we came back
to our roots and that is me & you
where there is one, there is the other
you are my soul mate
we are on the same wave length
over and over you have been my ear at the other end
that love we have for each other
is something I can't quite put my finger on
but it has lasted through breakups and family bust ups
it has grown to be comfortable and worn
it is home.....it is my safe harbor
and no matter what the future holds
I know somehow it always will be this way
true and warm.....
always & forever.....us.
