In His Grasp

John 10:28-30

Christ has told us but we have believed not,
With all of the works in which He has done;
In the name of the Father as each one ought,
Bearing witness about Him who is the Son.

You have no belief for in being His sheep,
For His sheep know the sound of His voice;
Never to hear their sorrow or see they weep,
Instead will follow Him while they rejoice.

Christ gives us eternal life not to perish,
And no one will snatch them from His hand;
For each sheep in the flock He will cherish,
And loves them in obeying every command.

As He keeps watch over both night and day,
The shepherd guards them all with His life;
Ensuring that not even one will ever stray,
Or become entangled in the thorns of strife.

That which the Father has given to the Son,
Has more value than all the fish in the sea;
I tell you as Christ and the Father are one,
Whatever is in His grasp not to be set free.
