Letter In The Drawer
Let me be the girl you see
there is so much I want to rely
but when I am near
you still seem so far
I want to tell you so much
but my throat just closes up
I am lonely.....and just can't bring myself to say
I need you so.....
You got me by the string
and your hands wrapped my heart
yet you don't even know it
I know in your eyes there is this glow
that keeps me coming back for more
I know there is this possibility
and the chances I keep passing
sometimes late at night I cry
at my utter inadequacy
the bullet in my feet I put there
cuz I am always it seems just too scared
hence the letter in the drawer
