Not My Day

Not My Day
Fell out of my bed
busted my lip and hurt my head
poured coffee into my cereal
couldn't understand a word my boss said
needless to say I was super late
because in Cali there is always a wreck
even on the alternate routes
at lunch spilled my soup
all over my brand new dress
expected in a meeting in 10 minutes
even with all of this mess
on the way home a tire remnant
hits my car and breaks the windshield
so I go the rest of my drive
looking like I came from the Compton
and I barely got out alive
when I get home my cat has an "accident"
I step in right on it
finally looking forward to dinner
the power goes out while I am trying to cook
guess it's sandwiches.....guess not the meat has expired
is it the bed time hour yet?
man I just can't wait
maybe I will fall into the bed!
