Your Shadow

This earthly life is no paradise
A time when souls get tested and refined
As people choose the truth or lies
Everything is written down in the books of life
But the sins of those that believe and repent
Are still covered by the precious blood of Jesus Christ.

Oh sometimes this world could be so unbearable
Pushing the way for its demise
That it makes my soul go vertigo,
To escape all the rays of the scorching sun
I run for cover
I run for the shades of Your Shadow

In Your Shadow I live
In Your Shadow I cry
In Your Shadow I breathe
In Your Shadow I'll die to survive,

Some people die and never realize
About the spirit that we all have inside
Although it's dead God brings it back to life
When we repent and start to cry,

Its designation is for communication
Between Creator and His creation
When we with all of our hearts
Ask God for Holiness
Holy power comes down on us from above
Leading the way
For manifestations of the Holy Spirit to follow,

Father I believe in You, In Your Spirit, In Your Son
I believe in the Holy Trinity, Three in One
I wanna fly away into the sky
I wanna live and never die

Melt away the loneliness and pain
Make my soul be free again
I wanna have a humble heart
Not of force but from true love,

I wanna live my life
With You by my side
Lord please let Your Love rejuvenate my soul
And when I die may Your Spirit carry me home.

Who am I to stand before You
Who am I to deserve Your Love
Only a creation
Out of dust and Your breath I'm made of.

Yet You humbled Yourself so low
And took on Your shoulders all my personal woes
There on the cross,
There on the cross.

My dear beloved Savior
You gave Your life away
To give me hope
And a chance to believe in Your merciful grace...

My Refuge and My Fortress

1 He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High
    will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.

2 I will say to the Lord, "My refuge and my fortress,
    my God, in whom I trust."
