Great Expectations

Don't cry today, put your pain away
don't show your weakness, not today
you are so strong you will make it through
my one last hope rides on you
go make me proud, be what I never was
be the person that I love
but I need to cry sometimes
there's no more hiding it, it's eating me up inside
I can't be your broken dreams
I have to be me
