 Incense

Candlelight bathes her
Standing there
Undressing slowly
Taking care
Folding clothes
Trim and neat
Moving closer
On silent feet
Shadows flicker across her skin
She reaches the bed to slide in
Joins her lover beneath the cover
Feels her roll and move over
So they cuddle
Breast to breast
Touching each
As each knows best
The perfumed candle fills the room
With sweet incense smell
Adding to the pleasure from bodies
That  know each other well
Cuddles and
Huddles
Then one returns to a life
In another world as a wife
The other despairs
And hates
But as a good lover
Patiently waits
Keeps the candle for those special days
When her lover comes and plays
