A Rabbit

A rabbit has a habit
Of hogging all the greens,
And gobbling, without manners
All the carrots and the beans!

A rabbit has a habit
Of digging burrows,deep,
And hiding from the hunter,
As he quietly rests in sleep!

A rabbit has a habit
Of wiggling up his nose,
And hopping in a hurry,
Away from snakes and crows.

A rabbit has a habit
Of holding up his ears,
To catch every single sound
That he could ever hear!

A rabbit has a habit
Of fluffing up his coat,
That is so white and furry,
And so tickly soft to stroke!

Joy Weare.
