He is screaming
Down the street,
Long red hair,
And not too neat!
Women in the
Neighbourhood,
Think he's up
To nothing good!
He knocks on Katy's
Nice clean door,
And kneels before her
On the floor!
"I beg You Katy
Come with me,
I'll take you out
For morning tea"
"Not morning tea,
Oh Cliff no,
That's not where
I want to go"
"Just you and me
Would be a bore,
I think I want
A little more"
"I want the best
Of food and wine,
Take me out
In style to dine"
Cliff was rather
Taken back,
As style was quite
His biggest lack!
He knocks on Michelle's
Nice clean door,
And kneels before her
On the floor.
"Please, I beg
Come for a walk,
So we can window shop
And Talk!
"Oh no Cliff,
That's not much fun,
Take me for
A long car run"
Cliff felt flustered
And in strife,
He had no car
And couldn't drive!
He knocks on Jody's
Nice clean door,
And kneels before her
On the floor!
"Please sweet Jody,
Let us dance,
So we can kiss,
And sweet romance"
"Oh no Cliff,
I need more time,
I have a heart
And soul and mind"
Cliff's queer eyes
Began to blink,
"Oh not a woman,
Who could think!
He knocks on Joy's
Nice clean door,
And kneels before her
On the floor!
He offers her
A small bouquet,
That he found
On the pathway!
"Oh, please Cliff,
What is this,
It's jewelery
That gives me bliss!
Cliff walked off
With lowered head,
To his place
And to his bed.
These women were
Too much for him,
They wanted more
Then he could give!
They were too clever,
And too smart,
And left him with
A broken heart!!
