Poetic Verses

Lest I walk

Erase iniquity you seem to see
from my very mortal existence here
All my wrongs and ills now absolve from me
Take back all your words that have caused my fear
No longer should I cower from your wrath,
as, here alone, I toil to no avail
Uncertain I walk this employment path
most certain, in your eyes, that I will fail
Praise your attentions and glory to one
who has not one tenth my dedication
I see that this process has now begun
to she who hath no gratification
Take back your words and let my wounds heal;
lest I walk out and leave you to deal

7/31/05
For all the work I do to no appreciation of my boss
