Yehee Redbone

A poem from the novel
"The Essence of Poetry II:Gerald's Sophomore Yet Grown Poetrybook"
Written by: Gerald L. Ingraham

Yehee Redbone,
Get with this
Yehee Redbone,
What it is?

Let your boy, Lamar, spit at you,
Holler at you for a sec or two;
I'm feeling all this what I see only
And I want time to get you on me;
Forget who you're with right now,
Need a good time? Don't say how;
Come on, just say when and where,
'Cause the fool you're with don't care.

Yehee Redbone,
I like to see you smile;
Yehee Redbone,
I make this worth your while.

Boo, I am hood, I rep Liberty City,
Buddy is gone, so show him no pity;
A youngin with a crib and a whip,
Since he left off you, we got to dip;
You play for game recognize game,
You scooped me from the cut, no shame;
See how you dance on me like freaks,
I don't joog for hours and do it by weeks.

Yehee Redbone,
Now, you want my phone;
Yehee Redbone,
Better let me take you home.
