 Turn
I turn away from you now, WOLF! I turn and take my chances.
I turn back to find my way, through tangled weeds and branches.
You were there among those vines, all twisted and entangled;
I saw your face and fell in LOVE...My heart was not yet mangled.
What seemed alive just days ago, now lies in devastation;
And I must now recalim my path, though filled with trepidation.
I can't fault you for what you are, Your mask has been perfected;
For I was blinded by your charm deluded, and rejected.
So after all is said and done...No blame is cast your way.
I made a choice and took a TURN, And learned along the way.
