 Phases
I gaze at her face shining at night,
A gorgeous beacon of pure loving light.

She is constant and always the same;
As she now waxes, so she does wane.

How do I know that this is all true?
Listen child and you shall know too.

A dark veiled maiden is she in her youth,
Hidden and secret abiding in truth.

She is waiting for him, awaiting his eye,
To behold all her splendor, as she sits in the sky.

His strength will enable her beauty to grow
Shifting and changing , till he too shall know...

That she is now mother, and so she shall grow
And as she should, so does she know...

Her power is felt as she becomes large,
Shining with life, she gives birth in the stars!

She absorbs my feelings, and gives me clear sight
she gives me direction and shows me whats right,

Then as the cycle continues I see...
Her roundness is melting away with the sea.

Her fullness has faded and now she is small,
Till I can just barely see her at all.

First Maiden, then Mother, now crone, she shall be...
And I am like her, and she is like me.

A vessel must first be emptied, Before it can be filled.
Blessed Be!
