haven't thought of you in years
The memories now come flooding back
I can't control my tears
We were young inseparable
went through life wild and free
We had it all or thought we did
so blind we couldn't see
But things change as people do
we went our separate ways
Years have flown for both of us
kids in love our glory days
Here you are you made the news
on the obituary page
Your name is there in black and white
your place of birth and age
Forgive me now my first sweet love
for never staying in touch
We parted ways and parted friends
though it hurt us very much
Its hard to read about you here
