 Our Wedding Day Thank You

I stood there so regal
like a statue in place
a nervous expression
shown on my face

Then you came into view
your beauty cut like a knife
and I bristled with pride
knowing you'd be my wife

Myself I was trembling
held my Fathers arm tight
but a smile lit my face
when you came into sight

I knew in that moment
my dreams had come true
my Father stepped aside
left me there beside you

As we stood there together
a new Bride and Groom
our love was felt
all through the room

All the proper words said
we now start a new life
back down the aisle
as husband and wife

Out thanks now to God
for bringing us here
to Family and Friends
we love and hold dear

To all those who took part
and helped in anyway
we thank you one and all
for Our Wedding Day
