Climb the highest mountain, punch the face of god

Sky as a dancer

I saw such thick clouds swallow up the sky,
The dark nighttime sky
Painted with those thunderclouds.

So I let my many delusions carry me home,
Praying that the sky would open up
And bleed some of its rain on me.
So I would have something to show
For my time spent observing.

All I can offer is my original fire
Which tears are slowly replacing.

I do remember that night
Whereas people so soon forget
The sky on a night like that.

There was nothing unusual about that night.
It was only an ennui night,
Cold and warm, and stars
That looked full of thought.

All I could think about was how
This is too much like suicide.

*The title really doesn't seem to relate much to the poem itself, but I liked it*
