The Law of the SpiritRomans 8:1-9 If in Christ you won't be judged as sinners, For the law of the spirit has made you free; As law of sin and death made you winners, Actually making eternal life a sure reality. What the law could not do with the flesh, God had sent His Son in an image of evil; And giving us a means of starting out fresh, In by-passing the road to sin and the devil. What was ordered by law might be done, Living not by the flesh but by the spirit; In the knowledge that victory has been won, Our way to Heaven to get what we inherit. But in living by the flesh is certain death, As your minds to the things of this earth; And ceasing to exist after your last breath, Never to experience the chance of a rebirth. But if the Spirit of God is truly in you, While your mind will be on life and peace; And you will be thinking in a positive view, As your tribulations and strife will cease.
