Cheaters

Love me tender
To thee my heart will surrender
To love to hold you
To love to be just that; yours!
In the dark nights
You walk away
Leaving me here to stay
With wonders along the way

You come home and in a flash
I see the fear in your eyes
You try to hide it
But this you can't deny
You're cheating heart
Is itching to set the truth free
Like done to all these others
You've cheated on me

I promised unconditional love
But you wanted more
You said you loved me
But yet how could you do so?
Love me tender
To thee my heart had surrendered
And now I'm left picking up pieces
From a fake lover

Cheaters will always be caught
No matter how hard they try
It may take some time
But the eyes will never lie
No matter how hard you try to cover
Those lies will seep out
Like a running spout
You can't keep that fluid from pouring
