BEHIND THE MASK OF BEAUTY
Is This My Home
You're supposed to feel safe at home
Like nothing could ever go wrong
But not me, I feel alone
I feel like no one ever sees me
Is this my home?
Being home is my worst fear
I feel like no one cares
So I sit in a corner and cry
I can't believe it
But sometimes I wish I would die
When I am with them I am supposed to be happy
Because their my family
But instead I feel alone
I feel weak never strong
Is this my home?
It hurts deep inside
To know I can no longer try
They no longer believe in me
People change but I guess they just don't see
I feel hatred here
I need someone to wash away my tears
I need someone to hold me in their arms
To keep me away from harm
Instead........
I'm all alone
I no longer feel safe
In my own home
