Remembering Natalee Holloway
By Nell Berry 8/8/05
Oh Natalee, sweet Natalee
where have you gone?
Your sweet face, so lovely,
your name like a song.
Our hearts are still grieving,
our eyes weeping too.
We look for some evidence,
what's happened to you?
There is no sign, no trail that we see,
Natalee, Oh Natalee, where can you be?
You've been too long gone, but still there's tomorrow,
where is the testimony, the clue we can follow?
Our faith has been tested, how can we go on,
remembering and believing you'll return to your home?
But hope springs eternal, though sometimes it wanes.
Surely someone can show us, our hope is not vain.
Please Dear Lord, help us,
You know where she's gone.
Only You can show us, please bring her home.
We thank You and praise You she was here oh so briefly.
But please bring her back,
fill our lives completely.
Oh Natalee, sweet Natalee where have you gone?
We love you and miss you,
and we want you home.
