Come AliveThe evening sun enters my studio And enrich my spreading color palette. Douse some ocean green in your eyes Sprinkle a mix of red and pink in cheek A few steady fine lines over the eyes And soften onion skin by deft touches. Feeling contented, no…evidently not Figure out the paper thin droopy eyelids. Do some repeat brushwork in finer scales Put some black on the overflowing hair. It’s long and remind of the waterfall Play of light and shadow on the forehead. Slowly comes to life and shine in beauty And I draw closer and closer to you.
