Light In Me
There is one thing no one can take
they simply just can't mess with
it's been present all my life
and up until recently I never knew
it was put there in birth
only by you....
it's the light in me
this light that you placed in my spirit
shall never burn out or fade
it endures me through all life curves
like a glove it's snug and fit
when I look up to the skies
it beams out of me
your light dear Jesus
the light in me.....
